HINTS AND
TIPS...
1.) It is recommended that
you join 15 minutes before the start of the session.
2.) When asked for your username,
please use your first name, followed by your last initial (e.g. – Bob Smith would use BobS). If someone already
has that name, simply add a number to the end (e.g. BobS2).
3.) Earlier
in the day, it would be helpful for you to visit the Elluminate Support page, at https://www.elluminate.com/support/. If prompted, follow the directions to install the required
software. You may be prompted to download Sun Microsystems Java Web Start (or OpenJNLP for Mac), a pre-requisite for
Elluminate Live!. You only need to do this the first time you use Elluminate Live!.
The minimum requirements:
- PC -- Pentium II 266 Mhz with
64MB of memory and a sound card.
- Mac -- G3 233 Mhz with OS 9.0
- 9.2 and 64MB of memory, or OS X and 128MB.
4.) Elluminate Live! can be
accessed with dial-up or high-speed Internet access.
5.) Many find it helpful to
view the Online Orientation (also appearing on the Support Page) before the session.
6.) You will need speakers
or headphones to hear the session. Please ensure that your computer audio settings are not set to “Mute”.
7.) You do not need to have
a microphone for this session. Questions can be taken via Text Messaging in the session.
